*multicolors! i love it!! who doesn’t love neon for spring here are my favs:

l.a.m.b.

*i love Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. but sadly i wasn’t impressed with this show at all. here are all the things i didn’t like: the overlayering, dull color palette, zippers, low waist belts, bad draping, etc. honestly i love L.A.M.B. and this makes me sad but i just did not like it at all. well all except these two pieces:

i’m sorry Gwen i love you but i just wasn’t feeling it.

badgley mischka

*elegance can easily be defined by badgley and mischka. embellishments were used beautifully and the gowns seemed to be impeccably crafted. here are my top pieces:

honestly, if i had these 6 pieces in my wardrobe my life would be complete.

rebecca taylor

*the Rebecca Taylor show can be summarized in a few words: florals, leopard print, ruffles, and comfort. each piece looked as if it flowed down the runway with ease and grace. i loved it.

marc jacobs

*i first have to comment on the kabuki makeup of course. now i know it was a bit strange but oddly enough it pulled a majority of the looks together. it made each piece softer and more feminine. each piece that came down the runway reminded me of art. the ruffles and structure of each garment amazed me. i found myself getting more and more excited with each click so image if i was actually there! here are my top favs:

Mr. Jacobs, if you ever read this: you are a genius but i’m sure you know that only you can make scrunchies and fanny packs look oh so stylish.

*i want to start by saying that i’m a big bow lover! i love bows and of course i couldn’t take my eyes off the cute bow hairpieces which slightly reminded me of betsey johnson’s spring 2008 show but of course the clothes are way different. Marc by Marc Jacob is just so trendy and fun to wear. the mixed prints remind me of my childhood and i can’t help but smile i loved the cute high waisted pieces and the bright colors. here are my favs:

i absolutely loved how he threw that piece ensemble in there!!! if i had to describe my three favorite things it would be bows, plaid, and ruffles

vera wang

*tulle, statement necklaces, embellishments, black, sequins, pleating, etc. i love vera wang! and this is why:

one of the most amazing shows! it was so romantic and everything down to the hair and makeup was just perfect! i would have put the whole show on this post but those are just my top 10. omg how beautiful was the closing dress! i could only wish to own something that perfect

alice + olivia

*okay i first want to say that i love love love long hair, but seriously how are we supposed to see your beautiful clothes if the model’s hair is covering the top half! there were soooo many cute pieces but seriously was it just me or was that cropped top with the acid washed jeans look way out of place? my absolute favorite piece was the adorable peplum number towards the end! i usually don’t like green but the sequined top gives it life and i love it (btw: my hair looks just like that models except it’s straight)! here are my favs:

3.1 phillip lim

*ok so i’ve been out for a bit. i was feeling under the weather and i spent this whole weekend in bed except for quick trip to the mall that i needed for therapy. anyway back to fashion week which is sadly over lets start with 3.1 Phillip Lim, one of my favorite lines. i always love the unique shapes and designs that are incorporated into each piece. one of the more interesting details i loved for this show was the rolled up waist. i saw a couple of bottoms with this waist and i was intrigued. this is usually something i do to my husbands boxers when i’m cleaning around the house but phillip makes it look so chic and tailored. i also adored the classic trenches which seemed like just the right length. the metallics toward the end just made me happy, that gorgeous silver blazer is awesome! and weren’t those cute swirly dresses too cute! here are my favs:
